The FieldTest Ad Platform tracks all of your campaign activity during flight, offering a bird's eye view of performance. In this guide we'll discuss how to make sense of the reporting, and how reports can inform campaign decisions moving forward.
For a better understanding of the terms and abbreviations used in this guide, and on your Dashboard and Campaign pages, review the Glossary of Terms.

Dashboard (All Campaigns)
The Dashboard (or Platform homepage) shows all current and past campaigns, which can be easily filtered using the date selector dropdown in the top right. The below example shows the pulse of data from all campaigns ever created by this user, and defaults to show impressions.
By clicking on "Clicks" at the top, we can overlay that piece of data as well, seeing impressions over clicks for all campaigns. This can be done for all data segments, and is a useful and quick way to cross-reference performance. The data segments are scaled independent of one another but can reveal obvious trends when compared.
Campaign Drilldown (Single Campaign)
Let's take a look at a Campaign drilldown (by clicking on the name of the campaign on the dashboard page):
The Campaign drilldown page shows data for a specific campaign only, and is the best way to see the most detailed reporting for each ad flight.
To review daily reports, click the "Export Report" button on the right above the reporting table, which will provide a download of a CSV spreadsheet with all daily data for impressions, clicks, etc broken out over the duration of your campaign to present day. This is a great way to see trends emerge.
The goal of any campaign is to keep clicks and conversions high, and the cost of clicks (CPC) low. Our platform optimizes against dead impressions, dropping sites and inventory that don't result in clicks or conversions, and preferring sites that do.
During the day, we report all activity with our proprietary in-house tracking. At midnight every night we check our reports against all of our downstream providers, triple checking and tightening the reports to ensure they are as reliable as possible.
